It’s that time again! Starting to pack for the trip back to Carsonnnn :) Yezzir! Being in the navy makes you realize how much you need to take leave to see your family. It’s difficult for us sailors to be out at sea and the only way to contact the people you love is by waiting in the longest lines to use 1 of the 4 pay phones on board the ship or to email your loved ones. There’s a big difference between receiving emails and to actually hear their reassuring voices. I’m definitely thankful for my family and friends who have supported me since I’ve made the decision to join the navy. I’m ready to get out of VA to see CA. Ready to surprise my mom and dad, to play with my nephews and nieces who(sadly) are almost as tall as me, ready to give my sister her new macbook, ready to drink all the drinks with everyone. Finna get crunkadilliocious.
